Cheesecake Stuffed Stawberries

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Michael and I got a lot of house and wedding stuff done this weekend which was very key. We had our menu tasting, bought some stools for our breakfast bar and also a sofa. All in all a productive weekend.

How delicious do these stuffed strawberries look. Cheesecake, strawberries and graham cracker crumbs all sound like a party in my mouth and definitely worth trying.

Recipe Friday... Avocado Fries with Cilantro Lemon Dipping Sauce

As I was searching for a fun and different recipe for today's post I stumbled across this and had to do it!

I found this recipe on the Adventures in Cooking blog. I have recently, over the last couple years, fallen in love with avocado. Avocado can do no wrong in my books.

This recipe would be a great appetizer or addition to a BBQ instead of regular potatoe french fries.

For the recipe please click here.

I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm off to a Halloween party tonight and then doing wedding and house things for the rest of the weekend.

Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)

I Need Your Input!

Tonight I'm going for my trail for my hair. The wedding is about six and a half weeks away and I'm just giddy with excitement.

I have a fabulous stylist doing my hair for my wedding but I'd love some input on what you think for up dos. I definitely want my hair all up because my dress has a lot of detail around my shoulders and chest.

Let me know what style is your favourite and why!

Note: I found all the pictures on Pinterest

I've seen a lot of brides this year with a similar variation of this look.

Big fan of her bangs in this picture.

Can't wait to hear what you have to say.

Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)

Halloween Home Decor

Is everyone ready for Halloween? I personally am not a big Halloween person, I don't really care for the dressing up aspect of it. That aside, if I was to host a Halloween party I would be all over these decor ideas.

Are you the type of person to decorate your house for various holidays throughout the year? I think I will be, once we get our house, in 30 DAYS!!

I love the idea and look of the wreath over the mirror. Adds a very mysterious vibe.

VIA Pinterest
A bit much but perfect if your home is situated on a big piece of land.

VIA Pottery Barn
I love tall candle holders and would use these, minus the spiders and skulls, all year round.

Are these things you would incorporate into your Halloween home?

Hot Apple Cider

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was spent at a wedding show, an engagement party and Christmas Shopping!

I'm not a huge cider fan myself but I'm sure lots of you are, and this looks like such a neat way to serve it that I just had to share with all of you.

How adorable is this? Something you would try?

Chocolate & Fruit

I am a big fruit lover and chocolate's not too bad either. What do you think of these dessert ideas - something you'd try?

VIA Little Cakes

This seems like the perfect dessert or snack ever. I'd suggest making sure the raspberries are very dry before putting the chips in.

How about this one. Angel food cake (my favourite), strawberries and chocolate skewers. Can you see yourself serving this at your next event?

Lettuce Dip Bowl

I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I have a crazy busy day!

How great is this lettuce dip bowl?

I think it may take some practice making sure it didn't come apart, but once you've managed that you have a great new invention and use for lettuce.

Fancy Cookies & Milk

Anyone else besides me not a big dessert person, cooking or eating? I don't have the patience required to be a great baker. The having to measure everything exactly and precisely isn't for me. That said, I can make cookies and think this dessert option is totally something I could tackle.

VIA Style Me Pretty

I adore the glasses and think this would work at any event you're hosting. What do you think, something you can do?

DIY Ice Bucket

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I spent the weekend up north with my favourite girlfriends gossiping, eating and enjoying one too many glasses of wine. All in all, a fabulous weekend!

I stumbled across this over the weekend and thought it was to die to.

Isn't this such a cute idea. Another neat pumpkin DIY project would be to cut out the insides like you see above and put a floral arrangement in it. A great fall centerpiece or decor for your front porch.

What do you think, will you be incorporating this into your fall decor DIY projects?
Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)

I don't know about you but I have a love for sparkle and sequins as of late. Have you been encorporating sparkle and sequins into your life through your fashion or home decor? I would like to start adding some more sparkle to my life!

100th Post!

Sorry for being MIA this week. I had one of those weeks that just kicks you to the curb but I'm back and feeling better than ever!

First off, this is my 100th post, how exciting! As I sit here drinking a neocitron so I can tackle my busy weekend I'm pondering what my next 100 posts will be about....

Secondly, I have a very fun weekend planned as I hope all of you do too. Tonight Michael and I are off to Fishbone Bistro in Stouffville for a delicious dinner and I can't wait.

Being that Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend I thought I'd share some great fall/Thanksgiving decor ideas. I'm a big fan of decorating for the season and being that fall is my favourite season I think these are just wonderful. All of the ideas came from Pinterest.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Enjoy the Party,

Nicole :)
